Financing

ABO Wind is experienced in international financing for renewable energy projects and in diverse financing forms for surplus and credit capital.

Building upon our many years of planning experience and in cooperation with domestic and international banks, ABO Wind structures investments either individually or to gain additional value, within the context of larger portfolios.

ABO Wind acquires projects in all stages of the planning process and because of its own financial resources is able to speedily conclude the planning phase and the sale of the projects thereafter.
Substantial added-value can be gained within the financing stage by combining projects in portfolios that vastly increase the profitability of investments.

Commercially competent and open for advanced financing forms, ABO Wind together with banks and investors, has initiated innovative financing concepts in the renewable energy resources sector.

Biogas Bonds

Biogasfonds „Sachsen-Anhalt“ (biogas bonds) sold within a few days.
Biogasfonds Sachsen-Anhalt is one of the first bonds of its kind in Germany.  The bonds were a great success and were sold within a few days.  The bonds were used to finance three biogas plants. The three plants, with a total installed capacity of 1,4 megawatts were connected to the power network in the fall of 2005. Plans are underway to issue more mutual funds in order to finance new biogas plants in 2007. top

Breeze Two

The company was able to finance and sell wind farms with a total capacity of 83 megawatts in a single deal. With “Breeze Two“, a wind farm portfolio with a total of 330 megawatts of installed capacity pooled and financed as a result of a cooperation between various German wind farm developers.  top
