Range of activities
ABO Wind is a reliable partner in the bioenergy industry; from the
early planning stages of a bioenergy project to the financing and
installation and further to the operational management of the completed
plant.
Feasibility Reports | Contract Negotiations | Permit and Site Planning | Construction | Financing | Operational Management
Feasibility Reports
In the first phase of a project, ABO Wind evaluates the technical
and commercial potential of the project within the framework of a
feasibility study.
Plant site and size is not the only decisive factor, the estimated
amount, quality and price of input material are also very important in
order to ascertain the potential yield of a biogas plant. The costs and
revenues, as well as earning potential must also be considered. The
careful analysis of the material and energy flow is fundamental to a
successful bioenergy project. top
Contract Negotiations
After the initial analysis, the land and raw materials for
promising projects must be secured through leasing and contractual
agreements. These contracts are essential to the realization of a
biogas plant. Contracts must also be negotiated for plant management,
fermentation substrate and heat take-up, power storage as well as
maintenance and purchasing contracts. Such contracts are final
essential to the profitable operation of a biogas plant. top
Permit and Site Planning
In order to obtain a permit for a bioenergy plant, the initial
plans as well various expert reports (i.e. smell, noise and
environmental impact) must be handed in to the local authorities.
The permit for a bioenergy plant is often dependent on the proposals
recommended within the expert reports. The technology that can be
implemented and the details of the heat exchanger, process control
engineering and the completer EMSR engineering are determined in the
permit. After the site is planned and permits are secured, a call for
tenders for the construction of the plant is prepared. top
Construction
The different jobs necessary for the construction are
commissioned and coordinated by ABO Wind between the firms involved. A
central concern is to ensure that the work done is of high quality,
cost-effective and finished within the set timelines. top
